Another ngo started a waterproject in this village. After 6 months just muddy water arose. The only memory of the NGO was a billboard, on which written with beautiful letters ‘ with gratefullness to..’. No adress to be found.

The pump was ok, the tower constructed, the motor functionned well. Silent Work did the only urgent and necessary thing, to sink anew a well. Not 45 m deep as before but 199 m deep. And.. there was water, for a long extended period of time.

In these villages, a long distance of the main road, we realised a well in between the 2 villages to supply water for both in the future. We hope to have realised this project late 2010.

In 2004, at long distance of the main road, we started to sink a well, build a water-tower, lay on a network of watertubes and the construction of watertaps at different areas in the village. About 3.800 villagers have daily access to 100.000 liters of clean water. It benefits health and relieves labour for women and girls.

This project started in 1994, in a village with approx. 3.500 inhabitants, at long distance of the main road. Plastic cisterns and buckets have been purchased to replace the heavy stone ones. A relief for the working women and girls. Thus diminishing the amount of time and energy spend.
